Financial/Parenting Classes in the Fall

Sunday Mornings:
Grace UMC welcomes children as part of worship. Every Sunday we have a “Time for Teaching” during the 11:00 service. We also provide children’s bulletins and bags with religious activities for them to do during worship. In addition, we often have children take an active role in worship, through presentations, singing, serving as acolytes, or other activities.

Educational Opportunities: Sunday Mornings at 10 am
Our elementary group K-4 is enjoying a study called “Three Simple Rules.” Through this curriculum, they:
 • Learn what it means to care for the world and God’s people

• Consider the ways to do good things for their families, their church, their community, and the world

• Discover the value of spiritual disciplines and how to practice them

The three simple rules of "Do No Harm," "Do Good," and "Stay in Love with God" are easy enough for children to understand and profound enough to begin a lifelong journey of faith.

In addition, they will incorporate some of what they are learning into the 11:00 worship service.
Please note: This curriculum has a corresponding adult component, so that children and parents can dialogue about what they are learning. This adult group is the Fellowship Sunday School class that meets in the library.

2, 3, and 4 year olds. Children will do a craft, hear a story, and have music or other activities that tell them of the love of God for them.

NURSERY CARE
We offer nursery care for children 5 and under during worship and Sunday School.  We have two terrific caregivers, Chris and Maya, on staff.

Other Activities: We encourage children’s full participation in the body of Christ and therefore include them in activities such as CROP Walk. We also periodically have special events for children, including holiday activities, fun outings, and children’s mission projects.
