Welcome to Grace United Methodist Church!
We have been serving the Newport News, Virginia community for over 50 years. Grace Church has two Sunday morning services. An early, or praise service, begins in our chapel at 8:45, and a traditional worship service begins at 11. We have a variety of Sunday School classes at 9:45 with nursery care available at all of these times. Directions and contact information can be found on the links to your left.

Worship At Grace
Holy Week and Easter
March 28 – Palm/Passion Sunday, 2 services
We will begin with palms waving, recalling Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.
Then we will move through the events of Holy Week, with music, scripture, and reflection at 8:45, and with a special drama led by the youth at 11.
(Easter Egg Hunt at 12:15 pm.)
April 1 – Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday)
Remembering the Last Supper, we will gather for a short service of prayer and communion in the sanctuary at 7 pm.
April 2 – Good Friday
The sanctuary will be open 12 noon – 8 pm for prayer and meditation. Stations of the Cross will be set up to guide us through the last hours of Jesus’ life.
April 4 – Easter Sunday, on service, 11 am
A joyful celebration of the resurrection in word and music. Bring flowers to add to the cross as signs of new life.
